Each event centers on one book exploring a form of consumption—from food to fashion to futures. We’ll dig into these themes through guided discussions and embodied activities while working through a tasting menu inspired by the book itself. Feed your consumer habits with things that will actually leave you satisfied: community, connection, and cuisine.</p><p>This gathering will dive into <a target="_blank" href="https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/700442/land-of-milk-and-honey-by-c-pam-zhang/"><em>Land of Milk and Honey</em></a><em> </em>by C Pam Zhang, exploring overconsumption, desire, and decadence without destroying the planet. You’ll leave full of thoughts and delicious foods, and with a zine full of recipes, art, and resources for reimagining what it means to consume. Come hungry.</p><p>No pressure if you haven't finished the book—we'll start with quiet reading time to digest curated excerpts before the meal begins at 7pm.
