Or maybe you're a developer curious about how AI is transforming the development workflow? Welcome to the Vibe Coding Workshop - where you'll learn to harness AI agents to build real, functional software through natural conversation - whether that's websites, tools, games, or interactive experiences. Everyone will leave with a unique project they didn't think they could create - perhaps even a fully functional web app for multiple users. In this hands-on workshop, instructor Noah Eisenbruch will take you from creating simple single-page experiences to building complex, dynamic projects. You'll see what's truly possible through a showcase of diverse vibe-coded creations: games like Weather Worsener (nerktendo.com/weather-worsener), retro interfaces (nerktendo.com), fully functional services with user authentication and updatable profiles (linkp.ee), and investor-ready startup demos (nerktendo.com/domainflip). Have a dream company you've always wanted to start? This is the perfect workshop to bring that vision to life. We'll cover the fundamentals of communicating effectively with AI coding assistants, understanding what they can (and can't) do, learning how to pick the right tool to fit your needs, and mastering how to guide AI toward your vision. By the end, you'll have created a real project - and for those interested, you can work with the instructor after class for help deploying your project to the web with options ranging from free to paid hosting solutions.Whether you're a complete beginner who's never written code, or an experienced developer looking to 10x your prototyping speed, this workshop has something for you. Beginners will leave empowered to build their ideas without traditional coding barriers. Advanced developers will discover prompt engineering strategies, rapid iteration techniques, and tips for collaborating with AI as a thinking partner. Come curious, leave equipped with the skills to turn any idea into reality - all by learning to speak the language of AI.Who is this class for: This workshop welcomes everyone from complete beginners to experienced developers!-> Beginners: No coding experience required. You'll learn everything from scratch - even absolute beginners will be able to tackle advanced projects in this workshop.-> Intermediate/Advanced developers: Come learn AI delegation strategies, rapid prototyping techniques, and modern AI-assisted workflows.Requirements - everyone needs:-> A laptop with a web browser-> A free account with an AI coding assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, Codeium, or similar)Recommended setup for getting hands-on faster:-> An AI desktop app like Claude Desktop for easier interaction-> Visual Studio Code installed (https://code.visualstudio.com/Download) with your AI service configured (if you know how - not required)Optimal setup (highly recommended if you plan to continue vibe coding):-> A paid subscription to an AI platform (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Cursor). While free tiers work, they have usage limits that you may encounter during the workshop. A paid subscription will ensure uninterrupted building during the workshop and will be invaluable as you continue your vibe coding journey.Don't forget:-> An idea you'd like to build (or come ready to brainstorm!) Your Instructor: Noah Eisenbruch is an interdisciplinary artist and product manager who has been exploring AI-assisted development and making complex software creation accessible through vibe coding. He's passionate about demystifying technology and empowering people to build through the power of conversational AI. This is a masks optional event.
